Come see legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famers ZZ Top perform their unique brand of rock at Artpark in Lewiston, Niagara Falls, NY this June. The band will hit the stage and perform beloved hits, such as 'La Grange,' 'Gimme All Your Lovin',' 'Sharp Dressed Man,' 'Tush' and 'Legs.'
American rock band ZZ Top first formed in Houston, Texas in 1969. Later incarnations of the band would eventually form the lineup that they still maintain to this day, featuring guitarist/lead vocalist Billy Gibbons, drummer Frank Beard and bassist/vocalist Dusty Hill.
ZZ Top is best known for their blues-heavy rock and humorous turn of lyrics, often producing songs with lyrics heavy on innuendos and double entendres. Over the years, the band has evolved from mostly blues rock to incorporating new wave, dance rock and punk rock into their extensive musical catalog.
ZZ Top are Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, having had been inducted into the legendary hall of fame back in 2004.
Throughout the course of their career, they've garnered 13 multi-platinum records, including 7 platinum records and 11 gold records. Their 1983 opus, Eliminator, is the group's best selling album, having had hit 10 million units in sales. The band ranks 80th overall when it comes to album sales in the United States alone, posting 25 million units in sales.
On a rather playful note, the band is also known for band members Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill's trademark beards.
As of 2017, ZZ Top are still actively touring and performing across the country and the rest of the world.
The band released their fifteenth studio album, La Future, on September 11, 2012, which was described by the band as a 'melding of their rather direct early music and today's technology.'
