Niagara Falls is a sight to behold; whether during an early sunrise, a bright summer day or a frost laden winter’s afternoon.
Thanks for the Niagara Falls Illumination Lights, the Falls is also majestic during the evening. The Niagara Falls Illumination Board, established in 1925, shine large bright spotlights against the Falls, creating a coloured view that has to be seen in person to be believed.
Charities, causes and special events co-ordinate with the Illumination Board to schedule special illuminations. For example, the Falls will shine a particular colour, in this case Blue, for a duration of 15 minutes beginning at 10pm.
Below are past and current Blue Illuminations of Niagara Falls.
