The Beach Boys are coming to the Niagara Fallsview Resort for a three night concert engagement. If you have loved their hits for years, it’s time to relive them again.

The Sounds of the Sixties and Beyond

Many remember the Beach Boys for the hits they produced throughout the 1960s. What started as a band dedicated to riding the waves soon became a whole new sound. The vocal and recording techniques that the Beach Boys first used gave them a more than iconic sound. It also solidified their places in history as true rock icons. They have influenced everyone from Fleetwood Mac to Bruce Springsteen and Weezer. Among they accolades they have garnered are an induction to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in 1988, as well as a historical landmark in their home state.

Recent Developments

In the last few years, the Beach Boys have re-emerged onto the scene as a powerhouse. 2006 saw the 40th anniversary of their album, Pet Sounds. At this point, their best hits collection, Sounds of Summer, has sold millions and millions of albums, going double platinum. In 2011, they released their album The Smile Sessions. Despite the fact that these recordings were actually never finished, the record was a smash hit. Today, they have hit the road again.
