It’s time for the second annual Brew at the Zoo craft beer festival at Safari Niagara! You can savour Ontario beer as well as cider at the festival on September 30, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Located in Stevensville, Ontario, a short distance away from Niagara Falls, the zoo is an unusual and interesting location for a beer fest. The festival is open to everyone who wants to have a good time and promises, even more, fun than the inaugural fest last year.
Safari Niagara is a 150-acre nature park with over a 1000 animals, birds and reptiles. It has an outdoor amphitheatre that will be the venue of the festival. A tented event, Brew at the Zoo is open to people of all ages although you need to be 19 and above with a valid ID to consume alcohol. If you buy tickets in advance online, you can get a discounted rate. The ticket has a unique barcode that will be scanned at the gate. It provides admission to the Safari Niagara Park entrance as well as the Brew at the Zoo entrance. Also, you will get one souvenir Sample Mug the first time you buy drink tickets.
The Niagara region has a thriving craft beer scene and you can taste some amazing varieties of beer from various breweries. Enjoy drinking some fantastic cider as well. Some of the participating breweries include Niagara Brewing Company, Brimstone Brewing, Forked River Brewing Co., Muskoka Brewery, Old Flame Brewing Company and Silversmith Brewing Company.
It’s always good to have some scrumptious food to go with your beer, and you can savour some yummy stuff at the beer festival. No beer fest is complete without live entertainment. So, there will be fabulous live music to entertain you while you drink and dine.
The craft beer festival is a rain or shine event. Enjoy the beer and food, and have a really good time at the Brew at the Zoo fest!
