Niagara Food and Wine Expo Entertainment

The Chef and The Dish

This global online interactive cooking experience will be conducted via Skype at the expo. Chefs based in Spain, Japan, Hungary and New England will coach a pre-selected culinary student or professional through a live online session. The person will interact with the chef to learn a step-by-step method of cooking an authentic dish from the region. The audience too can witness the session and understand the cooking lessons. It is a great way to expand your knowledge about a specific region’s culture, cuisine and cooking methods.

Chef Stage

Certified chefs will conduct cooking demonstrations for various varieties of food. Hone your culinary skills with these training sessions by the best chefs. You can learn to make slaws, Baja fish cakes, waffles, beer breaded fish tacos with cilantro and jalapeno salsa and more.

Tasting Stage

Wine, beer and spirit lovers can participate in 30 minute tasting classes during the expo. Each session can have up to 40 guests. Buy sample tickets to enjoy the sessions that include a range of specially selected drinks, information about their production, how to serve them and fun tastings.

Live Entertainment

Live entertainment during the weekend will see popular performers such as Cory Cruise, Jeremy de Freitas, Blair Franklin, Stacey Renee and an Elvis tribute by Mark Barsenbach.
