And the Marriott on the Falls Hotel is the Closest Hotel to the Scotiabank Convention Centre, making our hotel the perfect location for concert goers.

Niagara Concerts Line-up

Quickly becoming a staple of musical showcases in the area, Niagara Concerts pulls established North American talent for one-off performances at the centre. Across 2016-17 the confirmed acts are:

  • Jim Cuddy: A celebrated Canadian singer-songwriter who has toured and produced music regularly as a solo artist as well as performing with the country rock band Blue Rodeo. Cuddy will be performing solo on September 17.
  • Sarah Slean: a Renaissance woman in the arts, well-known for her music, visual art and poetry. Her music has been regularly utilised in TV soundtracks, notably dramas like Dawson’s Creek and Party of Five. Her musical style borrows from cabaret, pop, rock and R&B. She’ll be performing at the centre on October 28.
  • Chantel Kreviazuk: A Juno Award-winning Canadian singer and songwriter. She’s collaborated with top names in pop and R&B including Pitbull, Drake, Christina Aguilera and Pink – and been producing platinum-grade albums in her own right for twenty years. Her performance is on November 19.
  • Bobby Bazini: Bazini’s first album is certified platinum, and his second collection, Where I Belong, was the highest-selling Canadian album of 2014. His jazz-infused folk style is a massive hit with audiences. His night at the Scotiabank Centre is February 10 in 2017.
  • The Ladies of R&B: a double-act of award-winning Canadian soul/R&B singers. The multi award-winning Jully Black is regarded as one of Canada’s greatest ever singers and is arguably Canada’s hottest R&B export – she’s worked with Destiny’s Child, Sean Paul, Nas and various other soul acts. Divine Brown is a musical theatre performer as well as a Juno-decorated soul singer. The two artists will perform on the one night at the Scotiabank Centre on May 20 in 2017.
