Onguiaahra: Thunders of Water
A laser light show like no other that covers the history of Niagara Falls. These shows take place from August 26th – September 5th, is free to attend, and is before free Niagara Falls concerts at Queen Victoria Park.

Queenston Heights Park
Sunday afternoons are a popular time at Queenston Heights Park. This historic park featured a historic battle in the War of 1812, is adjacent to the beautiful Niagara Parkway and features free music from 2pm – 4pm each Sunday during the month of August.
Niagara Falls Museum Bi-Weekly Concert Series
August 4 & 18th (Thursday)
From 7-8:30pm, the Niagara Falls Museum courtyard features free concerts featuring local talent playing original music. This is a great event enjoyed by hip locals and families alike. The museum (5810 Ferry St, Niagara Falls, Ontario) is only a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk from our hotel.
The Fallsview Casino continues to be Niagara’s #1 entertainment destination, featuring five standout acts during the month of August. This month the 50’s to the 90’s are represented, from Ricky Nelson Remembered to the Wallflowers.

Niagara Craft Beer Festival
August 5 – 7
This Festival has a strong focus on Beer—with breweries from near and far participating. Standouts include Flying Monkey, St-Ambroise, Niagara Brewing Company and Mill Street. Takes place in downtown Port Dalhouise.
Niagara Falls Beer Festival
August 13 – 14
This Festival is a full fledged party, featuring beers, food trucks and live entertainment from big Canadian acts such as Big Wreck & Wave. Takes place in downtown Niagara Falls.
These events are in addition to the year round attractions found around Niagara Falls, such as Hornblower Cruises, the Fallsview Casino and the Falls themselves.
