Niagara Falls is heating up, literally and figuratively in the month of July. Numerous events fill the Calendar to go along with the timeless beauty of Niagara Falls.
Niagara Falls July 2016 Events
The 2016 season of the Shaw Festival continues into July. Productions big and small are taking place in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake. Headline productions are produced at the Festival Theatre, featuring the three big plays:
- Alice in Wonderland
- Sweeney Todd
- A Woman of No Importance
Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays throughout July
A headline event in Niagara, now three times a week! Fireworks displays takes place on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings. Before the displays on Friday and Sunday there are live, free concerts taking place at the base of the Illumination Light Stand, adjacent to Queen Victoria Park.
I4C International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration Weekend
July 22 -24
The I4C (I4C International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration) is becoming a yearly event in the Niagara Region. This event is geared towards education, celebration and enjoying some of the best Chardonnay’s produced in the region. This weekend long event includes tastings, lectures and paired meal events. July 7 – 8
International star Tony Orlando will be performing three times over the course of two days; 3pm on July 7th and 8:30pm on both July 7th & 8th.
July 12 – 13
Grammy Award winners Lady Antebellum usually play large, 15000+ arenas and festivals throughout the world. But the Fallsview Casino has negotiated two performances in the intimate, 1400 seat Avalon Ballroom on July 12th & 13th. Tickets are sold out but are available in the aftermarket.
July 20 – 28
This yearly play is a favourite amongst local casino goes. The musical relives popular 70’s disco tracks with high energy performances, multi sets and costume changes and an overall energetic vibe.
Jackson Triggs Summer Concert Series
July 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23
July is the busiest month at Jackson Triggs Summer Ampitheatre. This popular outdoor concert series features Canadian artists performing in an intimate venue, smack dab in the middle of wine country. This month’s performers:

- 54/40 – Unplugged: July 15
- Rootstock- Featuring Moe Berg, Chris Murphy, Craig Northey and Steven Page: July 16
