April is the official ‘kick-off’ of the Niagara spring and summer seasons, with the opening of cruises on the Niagara river, culinary expos and world class headline entertainment.

Season Opening of Hornblower Cruises, other Niagara Nature Attractions
Hornblower Cruises, one of Niagara Falls top attractions, opens for the 2016 on April 1st.
Hornblower is the replacement for the Maid of the Mist on Canadian waters. All Hornblower cruise ships are state of the art and take visitors right up to the lip of Niagara Falls.

The Fallsview Casino’s April line-up features a mixture of classical funk & soul, classic rock, pop and a comedic legend. Highlights performers this month include:
Solid Gold Motown
A touring show with world class performers, Solid Gold Motown revisits hits of yesteryear with live performances and an on-stage band. April 7th – April 13th
50’s and 60’s pop rock superstar and esteemed pianist Neil Sedaka’s legendary songwriting has garnered over 50 years of success with his enduring hits including “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do”. April 28th & 29th
Grand Funk Railroad
“We’re an American Band” and other classic rock hits will be performed by the one and only Grand Funk Railroad. April 30th
Tonight show host, comedic legend and award winning stand-up comedian Jay Leno will be performing for two evenings, April 21st & 22nd at the Fallsview Casino.
Niagara Food & Wine Expo
The Scotiabank Convention Centre (located across the street from our hotel) will be hosting the annual Niagara Food & Wine Expo, beginning Friday April 15th, running until Sunday April 17th. The Expo transforms the convention floor, featuring food, wine, and beer vendors from around the Niagara Region. Admission Tickets includes a Free wine sampling glass.
