Using the Incline Railway to Reach Niagara Falls

The Marriott on the Falls is one of the most convenient hotels in town. It’s right in the middle of Niagara Falls and close to most of the major attractions, with public transport close by to take tourists northward to Clifton Hill and the right of the attractions on offer.

The most direct way to visit directly in-front of Niagara Falls is the Falls Incline Railway.

How to get to Falls Incline Railway from the Marriott on the Falls

Exit the hotel and turn left down Fallsview Boulevard. Enter our sister property’s front door at the Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa. Once inside pass the gift shop and walk towards the Niagara Falls Skywalk. You will exit the property, and then cross a short bridge. This bridge will take you to the entrance of the Fallsview Incline Railway. The Incline is a 50-metre funicular track that takes travellers up and down a small section of the slope leading to the Niagara riverbank. It’s not a long trip (clocking in under a minute) but it saves pedestrians at least twenty minutes’ walking time in getting to the Table Rock Welcome Centre – and the nearby access to Niagara Falls – from Fallsview Boulevard.

Getting to the Welcome Centre and is associated vantage points and tours around the falls can be painless – and only the beginning of experiencing Niagara Falls. When in doubt, ask around, and you might pick up on a few local secrets.

Stay less than 5 mintues from Niagara Falls via the Incline Railway at the closest hotel to The Brink of Niagara Falls, the 4-star Marriott on the Falls. Obtain our best rates and amazing room packages via:  Marriott on the Falls Niagara Falls Hotel.
