Participants will plunge down the side of a 32-story building alongside the breathtaking Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada on October 18th at 9am, to support two local non-profit groups; Wells of Hope and WARM Niagara.
Organized by Over the Edge this unique event places participants – both professionals and amateurs – on a rappelling hook apparatus. Participants in the event will each be contributing a minimum of $1,000 brought in through individual and corporate donations for the opportunity to rappel down Marriott on the Falls Hotel (6755 Fallsview Boulevard , Niagara Falls, ON , Canada), which is located next to The Brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls.
Since 2003, Over the Edge has been organizing these exciting fundraising events around the world. To date, they have raised approximately 33 million dollars to benefit non-profits in the United States, Canada, Central America, Europe and Australia. Participants are invited to raise funds for the participating nonprofit in exchange for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of rappelling over the edge of a local building. Over the Edge’s highly trained professionals not only teach and guide novices how to rappel, but also ensure that their perfect safety record stays intact.
