This Friday, the Niagara Falls Incline Railway will re-open after nearly a full year of upgrades. It is as of 2013 the newest and most state-of-the-art incline railway in the world, inspiring new projects worldwide or across town.
The 62 second trip will bring passengers from the bottom of the hill, near the Niagara Parks to the top at the Fallsview tourist area. The re-addition of the rail service is great news for tourist and will assist the disabled in traveling around the major tourist destinations of Niagara Falls.
Currently the trip costs riders a small fee, less than a typical WEGO pass, and will run from 10am to 6pm barring any service disruptions.
