What do you get when you have some of the toughest hockey players in the world in a 500-metre long course racing at speeds of up to 70km/h? The Red Bull Crashed Ice! As part of the Red Bull Crashed Ice World Series, Niagara Falls is joining the list of hosts that includes cities from Quebec, Minnesota, Sweden, Russia and Czech Republic.
We're less than a month away from witnessing the groups of four race their way through the steep downhill track littered with tight turns, rollers and jumps! We can guarantee that you'll see some pretty wild crashes, bails and falls!
Each stop features shoot-outs for both national and international athletes for the 2013 World Championship. The 64 fastest Canadians and international athletes from each heat advance to an elimination round where the two fastest skaters from each bracket will advance to the finals.
