Catch a bird’s eye view of Nik Wallenda’s historic trek across Niagara Falls with the Marriott on the Falls FallsCam.
Perched more than 32-storeys above the ground, the new HD camera installed atop the Marriott on the Falls offers a spectacular view of the iconic Niagara Falls.
“As the closest hotel to the brink of the Falls, you can see unprecedented High Definition views of the Falls,” says Anthony Annunziata, Vice-President of Marketing at the Marriott on the Falls. “Our FallsCam gives you a peek at the falls that you simply can’t get anywhere else. When Mr. Wallenda gets on his tightrope, you will be able to get a great view and witness history from our FallsCam.”
Mr. Wallenda, who has been doing high-wire acts his entire life, was granted permission, February 15th, by the Niagara Parks Commission to cross Niagara Falls on a tightrope. He has yet to set a date for the wire walk, but it is expected it will take place in late summer.
The FallsCam provides a continuous colour, high-resolution feed of Niagara Falls, from a vantage point right at the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. The panoramic shot also includes a view of the American Falls and the Table Rock Welcome Centre.
