As summer winds down, the action in Niagara Falls heats up as slo-pitch players from across Ontario converge on the city for provincial championships.
Niagara Falls will host more than 1,000 men’s and women’s slo-pitch teams of every caliber of play over the month of September, effectively extending the busy tourist season in the city by a month. Teams will be here every weekend of the month, starting with Labour Day weekend, seeing the sights, eating in local restaurants and staying in Niagara Falls hotels. The provincial tournaments are based at Optimist Youth park, but games are spread out across the city and into Chippewa, Niagara-on-the-Lake, St. Catharines and Port Colborne.
Brought to you by the Marriott on the Falls.
