The Table Rock Welcome Centre is one of the most popular tourist destinations in all of Niagara Falls. It is a retail and observation complex that is near the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. This entire complex is complete with two buildings that are connected by way of an indoor mall. The construction of this modern complex was completed in 2008, which includes not only retail stores, and also and indoor observation complex that is complete with numerous levels.

Original Construction in 1926

While the modern additions to the Table Rock Welcome Centre were not completed until 2008, the North building was originally built in 1926. This building is complete with a retail store and even a whitewater simulation. It is possible to purchase tickets for the Journey Behind the Falls in this building as well. The upper level of the North building not only has an observation plaza, and also has a few different speciality retail stores that tourists can browse and shop. The South Building is an addition to the Table Rock Welcome centre that was originally constructed in 1974. This building is home to not only a fast food snack bar, and it also houses a formal sit-down restaurant that offers views overlooking not only Horseshoe Falls, and also parts of Niagara Falls.

The Welcome Centre is owned and operated by the Niagara Parks Commission. The easiest way to get to the Welcome Centre from the Marriott on the Falls Fallsview Hotel is by using the Falls Incline Railway. The railway is located near the Fallsview Resort Casino and shaves at least 20 minutes off each ways travel down to the Welcome Centre and Horseshoe Falls.
