Located just 200 metres from the gorgeous Niagara Falls, the Niagara Brewing Company at Clifton Hill offers consumers an amazing variety of craft beer. The brewpub opened its doors in 2015. You can soak in the wonderful atmosphere as you sip on a glass of beer and grab a bite as well.
Canada has a wonderful brewing heritage and Niagara Brewing Company aims to create beer that reflects this legacy. It is a great new addition to the innovative craft beer scene and offers wonderful flavours through its drinks. Its quest to brew the best beer is aided through effective processes that are helmed by Gord Slater who has over 30 years of experience in the brewing industry and has won several awards for recipe development. He has brought his expertise to the Niagara Brewing Company as well and you can taste some fantastic beers here.
Try the Amber Eh! Ale with its lovely flavour that is a blend of toasted grain, light caramel notes and North American hops. Beerdevil IPA is a tribute to the daredevils who have performed death-defying stunts on the Niagara Falls. It has a high hop aroma and a caramel-like, toasted malt flavour. The Honeymoon Peach Radler as the name suggests is dedicated to newly-wed couples and has an airy malt sweetness with a hint of ginger and a nice peach finish. Honouring the spectacular and powerful Niagara Falls is the Niagara Premium Lager which can be identified by its citrus flavours and malt sweetness. You can also try the seasonal White Canoe Wheat, Hennepin Stout, Cream Ale and Niagara Black Lager.
Munch on some tasty food while you sip your beer. Choose from an artisan cheese board, tortilla chips and guac, sausage rabe, homemade meatball, mushroom chicken melt and more. If you are with a larger group, you can choose from a group menu that offers various snacks, party platters and other yummy stuff. The brewery’s retail store also offers growlers which are eco-friendly and reusable. You can take these containers home filled with your favourite beer and then return for a refill.
So when you visit the falls, remember to stop by the Niagara Brewing Company for some fabulous craft beer. Cheers!
