The Adam Beck Hydroelectric Power Station is another haven for photographers, historians, and bird-watchers. Stops are located on both the Canadian and American sides of the Niagara Gorge. Many of the best views are found on the Canadian side. The Sir Adam Beck Hydroelectric Power Plant is often too large to contain in a single ground level photo, luckily there are helicopter tour operators in Niagara Falls for the dedicated photographer.
The Floral Clock was a gift to Niagara Falls from the Boy Scouts International what had their original global Jamboree near the Hydroelectric power station in 1955. Scouts from around the world descended onto Niagara Falls in a fashion consistent with the philosophy of not disturbing nature – with one exception being the floral clock. Their homage to Olmstead Law and the Niagara Parks.
